White Labeling Information

The BV White Label Program requires some amount of customer service. You will be responsible for the administration of your client’s product as follows:

You may advertise any bundle of products by using the product information on the Book Marketing Services page.

For Best Seller Ranking, follow these guidelines:

  • Include an Amazon Category & Keyword Assessment to determine the optimal categories for ranking well.
  • Package 75 sales to likely reach in the top #20.
  • Package 150 sales to likely reach the top #5.
  • Package 200+ sales to likely reach #1.

When you combine a Sales promotion with the sales from a Review promotion, the chances are even better to rank high in best seller categories. For instance, a package of 200 sales + 25-30 reviews will net 230 sales overall.

We do not advise more than 50 reviews per book per order to start, so please keep this in mind when constructing packages.

Advertising and Pricing

  1. Price in line with your own services, but bear in mind you need to price wisely. You will need to spend roughly two hours of time on customer liaison per order, and you should budget for this, plus taxes and fees.
  2. Your Product Description should not veer from ours in terms of what you promise to do. We have set processing times, and you will need to add your own time to these to make room for administrating the products at your end.
  3. You should never promise or guarantee reviews or sales, or any other such language, as this is against Amazon policy. The only thing you can guarantee is the promotion of the book on the date agreed.
  4. Any discount you offer your client will not be carried through to our required fee.

Setting Expectations

  1. Always set the more conservative expectation with your client with time and results.
  2. Allow 2-3 days for all communications with BV.
  3. Don’t promise the moon unless you have asked, and we can deliver it for you.
  4. Don’t promise more than we have to offer.
  5. We cannot rush dates or orders under any circumstance, so don’t ask for rush jobs or emergency orders.
  6. We cannot promise exact dates, but we do try. Dates that are way before the waiting time as advertised will not be possible.
  7. IF YOU ARE NOT SURE IF YOU CAN DELIVER SOMETHING, ASK US
  8. We are on EU time (GMT + 1), Monday to Friday, 10-5pm. Do not expect rushed replies on the weekend. We are not in the office. We will answer you within 2 days of your email, or less if we are in the middle of your order.
  9. Please expect American holiday times to be avoided on our booking system. Amazon promotions are very difficult at these times due to mainstream book releases and gift buying. We also do not promote on a weekend, as a general rule.

Professional Conduct

  1. Remember to treat even the rudest client with respect and dignity. If a client asks you for a refund because of your actions, we will not refund you. If you are not sure how to respond to a client, please ask for our advice.
  2. You must ensure that you send all the information from us in a timely manner to your client, and send us the reply. If we miss a deadline because we do not receive your confirmation, your order may be sent to the back of the line.

FAQs

You can copy and reword any of our FAQs, but we ask you do not simply cut and paste them, to avoid duplicate content on your website, and so that you can keep your white-labeling discreet.

Privacy Policy

Your website must include a Privacy Policy page if you are going to white label our products, as we are based in the EU. Please make sure you add one to your website using this as a template: https://gdpr.eu/privacy-notice.

Accepting Orders

  1. Make sure that all books you accept for our program are within our guidelines. This means they cannot include any kind of hate speech, racial, political, gender, or religious slurs, nor can they include titillating abuse towards non-consensual people or animals.
  2. Make sure that the Kindle book page on Amazon.com is available, and that the link works.
  3. Books with professional covers and blurbs sell much better than those with poor presentation.

Processing Orders

  1. When you receive the order from your client, you must order the product from our website via our submission form.
  2. You will be required to pay at the time of submission via PayPal, with either a credit card or debit card, or a PayPal account.
  3. Once we receive your payment and order, we will confirm this with you via an order confirmation email and a PayPal receipt. We will give you an estimated delivery date on the order confirmation email. Please note this date is estimated and depends on whether your client follows the rest of the instructions in a timely manner, and sometimes, but only rarely, we will have to change dates due to Amazon behavior.
  4.  You should confirm the order with your client via your own email, sharing the estimated delivery date we have given you. In this email, you must advise your client that their book will now be assessed by the team to see if they need to update their categories or price in order for the promotion to go ahead.

Order Your Book Promotion – White Labeling Clients

After your order reaches us, we will assess the submitted ebook page on Amazon and let you know what changes will need to be made. This will usually be as follows:

  1. After 1-3 days of receiving your order, we will advise you if the price needs to be changed. Please confirm that your client is willing to change their price to between 99 cents and $2.99. Books should not be free.
  2. If the client does not want to change their price, they will have to pay a supplement of $1 for every dollar over $2.99 – for instance, a 4-5 Reviews promo at $4.99 would require a supplement of $10. Review-only promos can be priced up to $9.99, but sales promos cannot be more than $2.99. You will collect this supplement and we will send you an invoice via PayPal for you to send us this money.
  3. Once we have the price agreed, you should inform your client that they should change their price five days before the estimated date given, if necessary, for a four-week period. They should not run any promotion on KDP at this time, such as a Countdown Deal, as this will mean they will not be able to change their price for up to two weeks.
  4. We will then confirm the exact promotion date with you.
  5. 2-7 days before the promotion is due to start, we will advise you on new categories, if necessary, if your client has ordered Best Seller Status. You should send them instructions for changing their categories via Amazon Support, which is the quickest way to get the subcategories you cannot change to on the admin end of KDP. You should have your client contact you by email once their book page is ready. If for any reason your client is not happy with their new category, let us know IMMEDIATELY the reason why, and we will try to find alternatives.

Once you have checked all changes are properly made, please inform us via email immediately. If there is any issue, please also inform us immediately. This is the most timely part of the service, as once a promo has been sent, the book page must be correct. We will confirm with you via email that all is well.

You should advise your client not to run any other kind of marketing or promotion service at the same time as this one. This is because often readers are on more than one reading mailer, and we will not be able to as easily track results.

You must set expectations for delivery transparently. Please ask your client to wait for the results as follows:

  • Review promotions can take 1-4 weeks to schedule and 4-6 weeks to complete.
  • Sales packages can take 2-4 weeks to schedule and 1-7 days to complete.

After the full waiting time, you should send your clients the following:

Best Seller Products

  • Screenshots of the highest ranking in the book’s Product Details
  • Screenshots of the best category ranking
  • Screenshots of the Best Seller badge, if applicable

Other Services

We can provide a list of reviewer names who posted reviews as a result of the promotion, if requested.

If you do not reach the minimum amount of sales or reviews as advertised in the time-frame given, we will, at no cost to you or your client, rerun the promotion until we do.

We will fully refund you only if one of the following is true:

  • You made a duplicate order in error
  • You cancel an order before we have started it (within 5 days of submission)
  • We cancel your order before it starts – we reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason

We will refund you partially only if one of the following is true:

  • We do not fulfill the minimum expected order. We will refund $15 per review/sale or $10 per sale to the minimum order number.
  • You change your order to a lower-priced order before we have started it
  • We change your order to a lower-priced order because either the client has ordered too many promotions in too short a space of time, or the book is too obscure for many readers to buy and review it.

We will NOT refund you if you have not managed the administration of your client’s order properly.

In every case, we will treat YOU as our client. Your client is not our client.
